Fitness tip of the Month

Keeping the weight off during the holiday season.

Fill your plate ½ way at dinner parties and do not go for seconds.

Allow yourself to have one appetizer before dinner or stick with the vegetable/fruit platter without the dressing dip to curb your pre-meal appetite.

Drink a Glass of water after every alcoholic beverage.

Make sure you exercise for 30 minutes first thing the next morning.

Every trainer is carefully selected and undergoes several weeks of continuing education each year to stay abreast with developments in performance enhancement techniques. Our goal is to develop the optimum training program for the client's specific needs.

The founders of Pro-Active Fitness exemplify the level of capability that makes a Pro-Active Fitness trainer distinctive from general trainers. Heidi Manago holds a Bachelors degree in Exercise Science with a certification from the American College of Sports Medicine. She is additionally qualified as a Post-Rehab Conditioning Specialist and is highly regarded aerobics instructor in the Metro-Boston area. Domenico Manago holds Masters Degree in Physical Therapy and a Bachelors Degree in Community Health. Domenico has advanced training in returning individuals to their functional goals after injury as well as designing sports specific programs to enhance performance of athletes from any level. From the general fitness enthusiast to the elite athlete the owners of Pro-Active Fitness Inc. use their 20 plus years of combined experience to design effective fitness and rehab programs based on the goals of the client.
